AfriLeap builds the financial and operational infrastructure required for African businesses to move, trade, and grow at scale. AfriLeap is pioneering a new model: we first build the core infrastructure (through our venture studio), then fund the ecosystem around it.
AfriLeap exists to solve the infrastructure gap that prevents African SMEs from accessing liquidity and participating in scalable trade.
AfriLeap’s mission is to build the missing systems and platforms that allow small and medium-sized African businesses to:
1. Get the funding they need to operate and grow (solve liquidity).
2. Reliably and efficiently engage in larger, cross-border trade that can transform their business (enable scalable trade).
AfriLeap is an operator-led venture company and studio, currently building and owning flagship infrastructure ventures.
Our focus spans three foundational sectors:
Trade & Mobility, Climate & Food, and Health & Productivity.
The Problem
Payments and logistics across Africa remain fragmented — multiple rails, inconsistent settlement, limited interoperability. This gap slows commerce and raises costs for businesses and customers alike.

KwikaPay — Africa’s New Instant Payments Layer
KwikaPay is a fast, secure, multi-channel payments API for African businesses. We enable SMEs, platforms, and organizations to collect payments, send disbursements, and manage cash flow through a simple integration.
While KwikaPay serves any business, our first and most important customers are KwikaFleet and KwikaMove—our logistics verticals.
